Dragon Vault set and collector guide

DRVen

Dragon Vault released October 5, 2012. The printed numbered set ends at 20, while the catalog contains 21 English printings after secret-numbered and premium entries are included. This page separates those counts and treatment quotes so “complete set” does not hide different collecting definitions.

Singles cost baseline by collection goal

Snapshot date: 2026-09-21. Totals exclude shipping, tax, seller availability and condition adjustments. A preferred regular variant is used for the numbered and collector definitions; the treatment definition counts each sourced market identity separately.

TCGOdds does not currently label booster boxes “better value” for Dragon Vault. A fair box-versus-singles comparison also needs a timestamped sealed-box price and enough sourced opening evidence to describe expected contents. Until both inputs exist, use the interactive Dragon Vault checklist to price your actual missing cards instead.

Data boundaries and sources

Catalog identity comes from the pinned TCGdex dataset and TCGCSV product records; USD market observations come from TCGCSV's TCGplayer feed. Selected chase cards have evidence-rich detail pages, while the full catalog remains in the checklist. Images stay reduced 200px identifiers; no high-resolution downloads are distributed.
